Symphony 101 presents Shake, Rattle and Roll! (S101D)

Symphony 101 presents Shake, Rattle and Roll!

QSO and the Queens Library proudly present Symphony 101  - a FREE, family-friendly, educational, demonstration series being held at public libraries throughout the borough. Symphony 101 will teach attendees about the different instrument families in the traditional symphonic orchestra through live musical demonstrations and an enlightening presentation by QSO Music Director Constantine Kitsopoulos.

Part 4 of this educational series, Shake, Rattle and Roll!, focuses on the percussion family including drums, gong, xylophone, and piano.

Shake, Rattle and Roll! will take place Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Forest Hills Library and again at the Sunnyside Library at 3:00 pm.

In the spring, Shake, Rattle and Roll! will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Lefferts Library at 1:00 pm and again at the Bayside Library at 3:00 pm.

Reservations are not accepted nor are tickets available for this event. Come early to secure your seat!
