Symphony 101 presents Bring on the Brass!

QSO and the Queens Library proudly present Symphony 101
-
a FREE, family-friendly, educational, demonstration series being held at
public libraries throughout the borough. Symphony 101 will teach
attendees about the different instrument families in the traditional
symphonic orchestra through live musical demonstrations and an
enlightening presentation by QSO Music Director Constantine Kitsopoulos.
Part 3 of this educational series, Bring on the Brass!, focuses on the brass family including french horn, trumpet, trombone and tuba.
Bring on the Brass! will take place Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at the Forest Hills Library at 1:00pm and again at the Sunnyside Library at 3:00 pm.
In the spring, Bring on the Brass! will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Lefferts Library at 1:00 pm and again at the Bayside Library at 3:00 pm.
Reservations are not accepted nor are tickets available for this event. Come early to secure your seat!
