Dance and movement are music’s closest cousins.

On May 6, 2018 at 3:00 PM, Music Director Martin Majkut along with the Queens Symphony Orchestra offer three different takes on how classical composers used dance as an inspiration for their creations.

DeFalla: Dances from Three Cornered Hat
Sibelius:  Valse Triste
Beethoven:  Symphony No. 7

The Queens Symphony Orchestra is dedicated to educating families and individuals of all ages about the universal value and necessity of orchestral music through live performance, educational programs and access to free instruments and instruction.
