From its founding, the Queens Symphony Orchestra has been more than just an orchestra, but a cultural institution whose mission has always included, in part, making music accessible through both live performance and education as well as hands-on and close-up access to musicians and instruments. Though the mission statement has changed throughout the years, we are still dedicated to the Borough of Queens and the City of New York. To that end, we have never, and never plan on charging admission or ticket fees to attend a QSO concert or educational event. This includes all of our programs, including our Family Concerts, Masterworks series, Outdoor Concerts on the Green, and Symphony 101. Because we pride ourselves on making orchestral music and education accessible to all, we rely largely on donations from individuals. Any amount that you can donate would go a long way towards bringing great music and educational opportunities to the Borough and to the City. Your donation also allows us to bring new programs to the community and will allow us to continue to improve and grow far into the future.
Please note that all donations are 100% tax deductible and go directly to QSO programs and community services.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at many QSO events in the future!
